Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roji'uun.. My deep condolences.. Another plane crash. This time the accident happened in Adi Sucipto Airport, Yogyakarta!

(This report below made by myself, by listening to Radio Elshinta 90.0 FM)

Garuda GA 200-PK GZC, Jakarta - Yogyakarta, departure 06.00 WIB, arrival 06.55 WIB, crashed in Adi Sucipto Airport, Yogyakarta, around 07.00 WIB, causing its bodycracked horizontally in two and caught on inferno. Before the accident, it seems the Boeing 737-400 plane was trying to land on the Runway 09 (based on the Garuda's official), but failed, causing the plane to lose its balance then hits the end of the runway instead, then ran to a four-lane street body and ended up on the rice field.

133 passangers (13 of them are business class passangers and 120 economy class) and 7 crews were on board. The crews (based on Garuda's official) are Capt Marwoto Komar (Pilot) and Capt Gagam Syuman Rohmana (Co-pilot), Wiranto Wuryono (navigator?), Irawati (Senior Cabin Crew), Maryati (Senior Cabin Crew), Imam Arif Iskandar (Senior Cabin Crew), and Ratna Budiyanti (Junior Cabin Crew). It was not known how many crew survived the crash, but there are two bodies found in the pilot and co pilot seat, died with severe injury on their abdomen, they were suspected to have already died few moments after the plane hit the land.

After the accident, 76 people has been evacuated to vary hospitals, such as Air Force hospital (RS TNI-AU), RS Panti Rapi, RS Panti Rini, RS Dr Sardjito. Most of the survived passangers suffered light and heavy injuries, such as burn trauma up to 60% of burn-injury. The rest, died. Many dead passangers were on the front main door of the plane. It might that they were trying to get out of the burning plane, and failed.

Based on the story of survived passanger, Agus (from Badan Pertanahan Nasional Jakarta Timur), they heard at least two times explosions when and after the plane is hitting the ground. There are no warning announced from the crew. "It seems that they (the crew) didn't expect the accident, because we are about to land," Agus said to elshinta radio station.

Many passanger was asleep that time, including the Chief of Muhammadiyah Din Syamsuddin, who got out of the plane about 5 minutes before the entire plane body caught on fire.

Based on the plane's manivest, some of the passangers are press & people from Australia embassy--regarding there will be a dialogue between PP Muhammadiyah and Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer, some officials, UGM academist, etc.
